Calculations based on Projectile motion

Projectile motion

Projectile motion  is a form of motion experienced by an object or particle  that is thrown near the Earth's surface and moves along a curved path under the action of gravity.

Maximum height of projectile (h) = \[\frac{v^{2} \sin^{2} \theta}{2g} \]

Horizontal range of projectile (l) = \[\frac{v^{2} \sin 2 \theta}{g} \]

where :

v= initial velocity of the particle

g= acceleration due to gravity

θ = angle of projection

h= maximum height

l= the range of the projectile
