We conducted VKIT-Sookshmas Hackathon 2020 to ignite and test the coding skills of students in order to make them ready for handling and solving the complex issues in real world. This event was held for 2 days at Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Bengaluru on March 11th & 12th and was conducted in the three rounds. M Shree Vamshika & Team from SJBIT and BIT Bengaluru won 1st rank and got cash prize of Rs. 10,000, Shamanth V & Team from VKIT Bengaluru won 2nd rank and got cash prize of Rs. 5,000, Priyadarshani Hegde & Team from BIT Bengaluru won 3rd rank and got cash prize of Rs. 3,000.

We conducted the Sookshmas Inter College Contest 2019 from 15th Feb to 23rd Feb 2019 for students to strengthen the knowledge in their subjects. Final prize distribution ceremony held on Global Academy Of Technology Bengaluru where Praveesh BR from Jain Institute of Technology Davangere won 1st rank and got cash prize of Rs. 50,000, P Kiran from Vivekananda Institute of Technology won 2nd rank and got cash prize of Rs. 20,000, Kushal Kumar KA from Global Academy Of Technology won 3rd rank and got cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and the best college trophy won by Global Academy of Technology Bengaluru.
