Friction
Friction is a force that acts to stop the movement of two touching things. The energy lost to friction is turned into sound and heat. Two kinds of friction are static and kinetic.
If the weight is on an incline, the normal force will be reduced by the cosine of the incline angle. The equation is
\[F_{s}=\mu Wcos(\beta ) \]
where
W is the weight
β is the incline angle
μ is the coefficient of friction for the two surfaces
let x be the incline angle. m is the coefficient of friction for the two surface.
