A science teacher from ruler kenya Peter Tabichi has won the prestigious Global teacher prize 2019 which all are the world best teachers he was honoured for his achievement in deprived school with crowded class and a few textbook Peter Tabichi is a Math and Physics teacher at keriko Secondary School Pawani village in a remote part of the Kenya rift Valley. he give away 80% of his income to help the poor students at the poorly equipped and overcrowded school who could not afford uniform and books
Tabichi started a 'talent nurturing club' and expanded the school's science club helping pupils design projects of such quality that many now qualify for National and international competitions
