HISTORY OF ANDROID
FUN FACT: DID YOU KNOW ANDROID WAS ORIGINALLY MADE FOR DIGITAL CAMERAS.
Android has grown and evolved a lot over what it was essentially from decade at this point.
Everything started in 2003 and before the Android was even bought out by Google. It started as ANDROID INK and was founded in Palo atlo in California by the founder RICH MINER, CRIS WHITE, NICK SEARS, and the name you might be familiar with ANDY RUBIN. Who later went on to create what we know as the essential phone.
In 2005,Google bought Android and ANDY RUBIN and other co-founder continued to work on it until they had the vision of their own company.
IN 2014 they left the Google all together and started their own company and we all know happened next.
In 2007,the iPhone was launched and changed the game in smartphones. During this time Google was working on Android under secrecy until they revealed their plans what they are going to do to complete with Apple or other mobile platforms. Google started open handset mobile Alliance which includes mobile makers like HTC and MO and the chips etc makers like Qualcomm and Texas instruments which no longer makes chipset and carrier like T-mobile to develop the mobile devices.
