The reservation in India was introduced in the country's deprived sections to join the mainstream of the society. Certainly the sections deprivation of the reservation has certain benefits, but it is also the fact that a small part of these deprived classes is receiving the benefit of the reservation not only the whole class, so reservation could not accomplish its purpose.

To get better profit from schemes like Maanrega, these should be used to provide quality skill training to the youth.

The recommendations of the Sharda Prasad Committee should be implemented earliestly. I.e. the Sharda Prasad Committee was recommended for the introduction of commercial courses under the Ministry of Human Resources.
- If a quality education is provided to the young population and they are given global skill training, there would be no problem in actually employing them.
- The youth should be provided with technical education so that they can better adjust themselves in this age of information.
- Education based on values should be provided to prevent India's skilled engineers and experts from moving out of India. We have to establish control over the brain-drain to encourage the brain gain.
