The US space agency ' NASA ' has launched the next generation cutting-edge weather satellite JPSS-1 means (Nations Joint Polar Satellite System-1) from the Vandenberg of California on 18th November, 2017.
- The satellite named JPSS-1 will be able to provide accurate information in relation to the weather. This will not only benefit the US but also be able to monitor weather around the world.
- The satellite has been designed in collaboration with ' NOAA ' (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's) and NASA. That is why when it reaches its final orbit it will be renamed to ' NOAA-20 '.
- The satellite would provide ' NASA ' the information regarding the Earth season twice a day by orbiting it 14 times from the Earth's North Pole.
