India is said to be the country of rivers, because from the north to the south, east to west the vast rivers have been spread. - Flood should not be declared a natural disaster, because on this one side, where the fields get new fertile soil, on the other hand water recharge is also done.
- Flooding is rich in biodiversity because of the flood; nutrients are obtained for aquatic sources.
Suggestions for effective removal of flood problem:
- For the problem of flood problem, strong embankments should be built on the banks side of the rivers and construction activities should be stopped for a certain distance from the banks of the rivers.
- People living along the rivers should be rehabilitated in other safe places and proper financial help should be provided.
