It is the branch of science that deals with the study of micro organisms like Bacteria, Viruses, etc.

- Bacteriology:- study of bacteria
- Virology:- study of viruses
Applied Biology:- The principles of biology for the welfare of human kind. It includes agriculture, medical science, veterinary science and pharmacy.
- Agriculture:- It is the branch of applied science that deals with the science or practice of farming, including cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops and the rearing of animal to provide food, wool and other products.
- Medical Science:- It is the branch of applied science that deals with the studies related to human health and diseases, their causative agents, prevention, control or treatment of these diseases.
- Veterinary Science:- It is the branch of applied science that deals with the study of animals.
- Pharmacy Science:- It is the branch of applied science that deals with the study of medicines, i.e their nature, production,efffect, distribution, etc.
