The foundation for the development of a nation depends on its strong economic base. It is known that the more the nation develops on the economic basis, the more resources it has. On the strength of these resources, it strengthens the infrastructure that leads to industrial development. Most of all, he is able to make the people of his country easily available to the basic facilities of life.
- But here one important question arises: Is economic development possible without social values? Actually economic development depends on the citizens and the society. If citizens of any country are ineligible and superstition and conservatism in the society, then the economic development of that country cannot be possible.
- In fact, development of the country is possible only on progressive and educated citizens. Only educated citizens with progressive ideas can advance innovation and provide a strong basis for technological development. Here one thing is clear that advanced social values only help in the development of educated and progressive citizens. For example, if a man had not adopted advanced social values, he would still have been living rude and barbarous life of stone.
Why is it important to give priority to social values in comparison to economic values for inclusive growth?
- Prioritization of social values is important because of the economic values for inclusive growth, because if the proper benefit of economic development does not reach all the people of the society, then most of the capital and resources will be centered in the hands of a few people.
- Similarly, if a country focuses only on economic values and economic development, then the country will be financed economically but in the case of social development it will be far behind.
- For example, Gulf countries are economically rich due to their resources in oil and gas but they are socially backward in the absence of advanced social values. In these countries still women are bound to live a life of subjection.
- Most importantly, proper and inclusive growth is possible only when the benefits of economic development reach the backward and deprived sections of the society. In the social values, the rich nation can only benefit from the economic development to the last person in the last line of society and can give the concept of (Antyodaya se Bharat Udaya) a realization.
Conclusion:
It can be concluded that economic values are essential for the development of the nation, but for the inclusive growth of the nation, social values are preferred in comparison to economic values.
