Cultural heritage comprises of Tangible (physical objects-buildings,paintings,coins) & Intangible parts(songs,rituals,dances) & natural heritage (biodiversity).
It is an imprint of history left by time on the land & its people.It is an important indicator of what the nation has gone through ,about how the different elements,cultures,gps met ,interacted,innovated & synergised with each other.It shows the various ideas,practices,acts of people over time & their consequences. Cultural heritage is an expression of the ways of living developed by a community and passed on from one generation to another including customs,practices, objects,artistic expressions,values etc.

Cultural heritage depicts country's pride,historical,social and cultural significance hence every efforts needs to be taken to preserve the sanctity of these valuable entities to realise the dream of vasudhaiva kutumbakam

-in creating a cultural natural setting that is more peaceful ,aesthetic,naturalistic that can reduce stress.
-living in shared spaces with cross cutting & hetrogenous heritage ,enjoying varied types of heritage(Quawalli,Yak dance,Vedic chantings,Sankirtan) helps one realize the unity of all & in seeing the beuty in everything,it makes a society more open minded & tolerant of the “other” while no contact promotes prejudices & Fear.
