Women in India currently face multitude of health problems like Malnutrition and Morbidity along with other social problems like Domestic Violence and Patriarchal Mindset that adversely impacts Women's Equality and Rights. What steps are necessary to curb the worsening conditions of Indian Women?

Women in India currently face multitude of health problems like Malnutrition and Morbidity along with other social problems like Domestic Violence and Patriarchal Mindset that adversely impacts Women's Equality and Rights. To curb the worsening conditions of Indian Women there is need to Reformative Measures to uplift Women.

Policy Options:

1) Collaboration between Union and State Government's Policies to ensure large section of vulnerable women is covered.

2) Proper Implementation of Rastriya Swastha Bima Yojana to ensure Medical insurance to BPL women and Families. The Data should be easily available on Governmental Portals.

3) 'National Commission for Women' and NGOs to ensure Help from Stakeholders like Medical Institutions do not carry avoidable surgeries to increase Bill on Patients under RSBY.

4) Stabilizing the incentives of ASHA workers to ensure they create health awareness in Women in Rural levels and also would contribute to Policy Implementation at Grass Root levels.

5) Availability of Tablets to curb Basic problems prevalent in rural and tribal women Eg. Anemia.

6) Timely Inspection for schemes like PDS , NFS and Mid day meal schemes.

7) India encounters many deaths due to unsafe abortions. ‘Medical Termination of Pregnancy act under 1971' Amendment in. 
* Increasing permissible age for abortion.
* including Unmarried women permissible under treatment of act.

8) Indian women experience social stigma and ignorance and hence develop mental illness. ASHA workers can help in improving conditions and treatment.
Problems like anxiety and depression may only be identified by doctor and hence increasing coverage of doctors in rural India.

9) India faces Gender Biased on healthcare issues. Creating awareness among rural areas to ensure equality to men and women.

CONCLUSION:-

               Healthcare is one of the basic amenities that should be provided to women in Rural India. The need of hour is reformative steps in Dealing with healthcare of women to ensure India fulfils SDG 2030 goals with gender equality in all aspects of human life whether being health or Education.
