According to a recent report from the United Nations, if carbon emissions were done at this pace, then by the end of the 21st century, it would be difficult to find the goal of the Paris Agreement to increase the temperature to 2 ° C. In this regard, how can India present an excellent example in front of the world?

Under the Paris Climate Change Agreement held in 2015, it was agreed between the participating countries that in order to limit the global temperature from 1990 to 2 ° C in the 21st century, all countries must work together. But a recent report from the United Nations has found that the speed at which the carbon emissions are released will have difficulty in achieving the above mentioned goal.

This is the reason that for achieving this goal it is being said that the countries of the world will have to set a new goal together. It is known that countries such as the USA are coming out of the Paris Climate Agreement and are refusing to accept the commitment made under the Paris Climate Agreement.

In such a situation, India can lead the world in relation to climate change. The kind of commitment that India has shown to control climate change proves that India is serious about the problem of climate change and is moving forward toward full goal.

In relation to controlling climate change, India has taken the following steps and presented equality before the world:

India plays a total of 7 percent of the world's carbon emissions and is the world's fourth largest carbon emissions. Because of this, India's role in controlling climate change becomes more important.

By promoting solar energy, wind power and other renewable energy sources, most energy needs of the country must be met.

It is known that India has been declared the INDC target by which India will get about 35 percent of its energy needs from renewable energy sources by the year 2030.

In the field of transport, by 2020, adopting Bharat Stage Tutor and by adopting electric vehicles by the year 2030, huge reduction in carbon emissions can be done.

By promoting organic farming and bringing the consumption of fertilizers to the lowest level and promoting sustainable agriculture.

Carbon emissions can be controlled by adopting the scientific system of waste management, by bringing social awareness and promoting collective plantation.

On the other hand, significant progress can be made in this regard with international cooperation and technical exchanges. The International Solar Alliance is important in this regard.

Conclusion:

It can be concluded that if carbon emissions were at current speed, it would be difficult to control climate change. This is the reason why we have to set new targets in this regard. India can play the lead role by presenting its example in this regard to the countries of the world.
