According to International labour organisation(ILO) , modern slavery in India such as bonded labour , forced begging , human trafficking etc is in the critical zone ( red category) where around 46 million people are enslaved.how can technology help to solve this problem?

As the technology has penetrated into daily life , it is replacing faster than ever the various physical interaction points like ticket booking counters by virtual interaction points like e-ticketing.This has increased the role of data management and analysis to track the illicit activities and prevent them by sharing data with relevant government authorities like IB,cyber crime cell etc.
According to International labour organisation(ILO) , modern slavery in India such as bonded labour , forced begging , human trafficking etc is in the critical zone ( red category) where around 46 million people are enslaved and around every fourth "slave" is a child .
HOW CAN TECHNOLOGY HELP TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM:
1. Illicit trade and a crime and criminal tracking system(CCTS) :- Vigilant government authorities can do money and internet protocol trails to find out the culprit , to prevent crimes etc.
2. An integrated data sharing platform of all states where the police authorities can seek the criminals records of the other states and their inter state record to have a complete information before approaching the case. It will eliminate the cumbersome procedure of information sharing.
3. Social awareness campaign can be conducted through social media to generate awareness in society and informing them about the crime rates and different types of crimes frequency in their locality
4. Data storage and analysis to find out the pattern of crime and the key common factors can be of great importance to prevent any such crime to take place. eg.- only two or three adults and around 10 or more number of children tickets booking can attract the IB 's attention because large number of children guided by one or two adults is a noted trait of child trafficking
5. Comprehensive data about suspicious foreign consultancy agencies , Placement agencies and tourist agencies can help to check on their activities to prevent human trafficking .
CONCLUSION:The state governments like Maharashtra have very efficient setups by which they have managed to cut down crime rates like human trafficking to large extent . The centre has also decided to strengthen its cyber capabilities of its cyber army to tackle this menace which is a commendable step to ensure safety and security of nation and its citizens.
