INDIAN HEALTH SECTOR IS SUFFERING FROM MANY TYPES OF PROBLEMS,DISCUSS. HOW CAN THESE PROBLEMS BE SOLVED?

The world's highest number of women dying in childbirth; the world's highest deaths of children under the age of five; a health system that ranks 112 among 190 countries; one doctor for 1,700 people; 21% of the world's burden of disease, worsened by poor basic health and sanitation.

Problem lies in front of India:

1. With increasing population of India and high poverty among the rural areas people where not able to afford the qualitative treatment.
2. Rural-urban disparity: The rural healthcare infrastructure is three-tiered and includes a sub-center, primary health center and shortage of doctors in hospitals.
3. Lack of equipment and infrastructure laid problem in public hospitals.
4. Low expenditure by Governments only 1.5% and China 3% and USA 8.3% which is lowest among the all the countries.
5.India has qualified doctors but they do not working in India instead of that they are working in UK and USA for for good remuneration.
6.Insurance: India has one of the lowest per capita healthcare expenditures in the world. Government contribution to insurance stands at roughly 32%, as opposed to 83.5% in the UK.

Opportunity and Way Forward:
1. Where India is having lack of fund since it has to free allow to Private investment as well and foreign Investment into Health sectors.
2. Partnering private player in district hospitals has opportunity to over come and will also help us to get innovate.
3. Causing increase in population state central govt and state govt should play a role of providing drug facility and practicing in adopting three tier system, this will create employment opportunities also.
4.Union Govt should measure in development of rural, infrastructure and allocating more funds to health sectors.
5. With increasing IT trends in today's era, Govt should make adopt mobile based and IT based medicare facility.
