The development of any country, state, and region depends on things like the efficiency, strength, quality and education of the available human power of that country. It is important to keep in mind that women are also human resources of any nation like men. At present, women are playing important roles not only in social and cultural matters but also in political and economic matters.
Why is proper participation of women necessary for the creation of new India?
In most countries, particularly in developing countries, women work more than men, but their domestic activities are neither included in economic activities nor in the country's GDP, so if a new India is to be created then accept the domestic contribution of women will happen.
It is necessary for the creation of a new India that the social attitude towards women should be changed and it is established that it is difficult for them to achieve equal status in society till women become economically self-sufficient.
Women's education is the most important thing to ensure proper participation of women. Educated women do not get education only themselves but play an important role in educating the entire house.
Changes in the economy by giving women equal participation:-
According to the World Bank report, in 2011, the percentage of women participation in total labor force in India was 24.6, compared to 24.2 in the year 2014. It has been reported in this report that if the participation of women in the Indian economy is increased, then the economy can increase up to 16%.
In its recent report released on gender equality, the McKinsey Global Institute has claimed that if gender equality is established in India then it will have the most positive impact on the Indian economy compared to any area in the world.
According to a recent report by Ernest & Young, a research globally found that a company which has led 30 per cent of the women's role in the leadership of the companies has increased the growth of those companies by 6 per cent. This report applies equally to the Indian economy too.
According to McKinsey's report most of the states of India are facing gender inequality. The highest rates of gender equality were found in Mizoram and the lowest rates were found in Bihar. If there is a situation like Mizoram in all states then there can be a surprising increase in the economy.
