For example, if a servant displays reluctance to his employer or if he shows a neglect of other family members towards an elderly and ailing member of the family then the problem will arise. This is the reason that the servants behave like this to save their jobs and to maintain family sympathy.
In this regard, Kautilya or Chanakya had rightly said that in the same way the tree is cut first in the forest, in the same way, the person in straight and forward nature has to be most upset.
Similarly, in order to operate systematically in the field of civil services and to maintain law and order, it is necessary to use diplomacy. The reason for this is that the civil servant faces various types of situations and people every day and they have to be resolved.
But diplomacy should always be used in the context of ethics and public interest rather than fulfilling selfish interests. If diplomacy is used for the fulfillment of selfish interests and corruption, then it will be immoral and illegal.
