Drafting Committee: the panel is resp for scruptinising the " Draft of the text of the Constitution of India prepared by Constitutional adviser " Along with " giving effect to the decisions already taken in the assembly & including all matters which are ancillary there to or which have to be provided in such a Constitution "
The drafting Commiti had 7 members. At its 1st meeting on 30 August, 1947, BR Ambedkar was elected as its chairperson.
After working for 2 years, 11 months 18 days, the committee was prepared with the draft.
