Lala Lajpat Rai 156th birth anniversary
Lala Lajpat Rai one of the chief leaders of the Indian Independene Movement was born on January 28 , in the year 1865 in Punjab.
Lala Lajpat Rai helped found the Punjab National Park.
He was popularly known as Punjab Kesari( Sher -e- Punjab).
He was a part of Lal Bal Pal triangle.
Lala Lajpat Rai, Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Bipin Chandra Pal formed a trimvirate and fought for independence of India and promoted the swadeshi movement.
In 1928, the British government set up a commission and no Indian was named inthe list.
He passed away on November 17,1928.
