Formation of Plurals
(a) सामान्यतया किसी singural noun का plural करने के लिए हम singural noun में 's' जोड़कर उस singural noun का plural बनाते हैं। जैसे -

(b) कुुुुछ singural nouns जिनके अंत में ' X , ch , ss, sh , s, z' आता है उनके अंत हम सामान्यतया 'es ' जोड़कर उन शब्दों का plural बनाते हैं ।जैसे -

Note : कुुुछ noun जिनका अंत ' ch' से हो परन्तु उनका उच्चारण ch (च) न होकर k ( क) की तरह हो तो उन noun में हम केवल 's' जोड़कर उस शब्द का plural बनाते हैं।
Ex - Stomach - Stomachs monarch - monarchs , conch- conchs
