For many generations, groups belonging to the same type of work got a form of caste on the basis of their work. Initially, the caste system proved to be useful in the creation of a well-organized society by increasing the efficiency of the work. But in time, caste system became the evil of society. On the one hand, it has worked to prevent mutual co-ordination and interaction between people and on the other hand prevent people from developing as a nation citizen.
People were organized on the identity of caste ahead. This process was known as casteism. Caste leaders can preserve their own interests in a traditional form because their existence remains on the basis of caste groups. Thus caste system and racism are two major social evils, which are dependent on each other.

In this era of globalization, man has great freedom. She is no longer bound to do the tasks assigned to her caste. Today, the lower caste people are getting elevated to higher positions.
The widespread spread of education has led to changes in people's thinking about caste discrimination and untouchability.
The number of inter-caste and interfaith marriages is constantly increasing, which is a clear violation of the restrictions of caste system. This is going to slow down the caste system.
Scientific and logic has advocated human equality. Due to this, the caste beliefs have suffered heavy losses.
Above all, in the Indian Constitution, everyone has been given the right to equality and untouchability has been kept in the category of crime. This has reduced caste recognition.
Is racism growing in India?
Racism is increasing in India because the caste is presented as a participant in happiness and misery. The person is made to realize that caste is the system which comes in its time of crisis.
Various racist organizations are created and efforts are made to include all members belonging to that caste in this organization.
In the development of casteism, the evil mindset of political parties is contributing a lot. Political parties use caste groups as vote banks.
Casteist powers engage in constant efforts to discourage endue and inter-caste marriages. Khap Panchayats are prominent among these casteist powers.
