It is important for a Leader to have these two above mentioned qualities because he deeply influences his followers. In the circumstances of the present complex world, we need such global leaders, which consist of these two qualities.
Why is the need for better temper and strong emotional intelligence in the current global situation?
· The present world is facing a lot of complex situations like the struggle, terrorism, refugee problem and the problem of climate change, so there is an inevitable requirement of the above qualities in this situation.
· Leadership with emotional intelligence can be a commendable role in the way that intolerance is increasing in the present. A person with a strong emotional intelligence can properly manage the feelings of intolerant people and move them towards creativity.
· The formation of the United Nations was also aimed at encouraging global peace. But it has not got much success in its objective. If there is a leadership in the United Nations that is strong with emotional intelligence, then definitely there can be help in establishing peace.
· It is necessary for the control of matters related to the violation of human rights that the leadership is in the hands of such people who are of good nature and strong emotional intelligence.
· Leaders with good temperament and emotional intelligence can understand that the two countries are struggling for their existence due to climate change. At the same time, steps can be taken to control climate change.
· The policy of good faith and assistance has always been adopted by the Government of India for other countries. It is to be noted that during the relief of Nepal earthquake, Maldives's water conservation and relief operations in Yemen, Indian leadership introduced sensitivity.
