Akbar (AD 1556-1605)

  • Akbar one of the greatest ruler of Mughal Empire. Jalaluddin mohd. Akbar was born to Hamida Banu Beghum at Amarjit in Rana Vaersul's palace (Sind) (Thar District ) on 15 Oct. 1542.
  • Akbar's Coronation was done by Mirja Abdul Qasim a place (Gurdaspur District of Punjab) on 14 Feb, 1556 under named Kalanaur. The supervision of Baliram Khan.
  • In 1556 AD Akbar appointed Baliram Khan as his lawyer and gave him the title of khan-e-khana. Bhairam Khan was related to Shia Clan of Persia
  • Bhairam Khan represented him in the second battle of Panipat in AD 1556 against Mohammad Adil Sue's Wazir, Hemu. Akbar defeated Hemu and reoccupied Delhi and Agra.
  • Between 1556-1560, Akbar ruled under Bairam Khan's regency. The fort of Gwalior, Jaunpur, Ajmer and Ranthambore were successfully occupied. Later Akbar asked to proceed to Meeca. On the way near Patna, Bairam Khan was mudered.
  • After 1556 Akbar ruled independently.
  • In 1564 AD ujbeks revolted. This was first rebellion against of Akbar. During this reveled Birbal died.
  • In 1586 AD Salim declared himself independent king. On his orders Bundela Sardar Veer Singh Dev of Orch a killed Abul Fazal.
