Babur (1526-1530 A.D) Part-1

  • Babur was born on 14 Feb. 1483 in trans-Aksiyana, in Farghana. His father's name was Umar Sheikh Mirja Farghan.
  • He was descendant of Timur on his father'' side and Changes Khan on mother's side. His family belonged to the Chagtai section of the Turkish race and commonly known as Mughals.
  • He sat on the throne of Farghan in the age of 11 years after his father's death.
  • He won Samarkand in 1497 AD but soon, both Samarkand and Farghan slipped from his hands.
  • He founded Mughal Empire in India. He estemblished rulevof Chatgai Clan's Turkish Race.
  • Babar leaned/ took Tughlaqa war tactics of Ujbegs, usage of pistols from Iranis, managing fast horses from Turks, usage of artillery.
  • He made a Turkish Gunner. Ustad Ali Quli head of artillery.
  • Babur attacked India 4 times during 1519 A.D  to 1524. In 1519 he attacked for the first time on Baajore and to conquer the place of Bhera. He used gun power. In his 4th expendtion in 1524 he conquered Lahore and Dipulpur.
  • He was invited to attack India by Daulatkhan Lodhi, Subedar of Punjab, Alam Khan Lodhi uncle of Ibrahim Lodhi and Rana Sanga.
