Babur (1526-1530 A.D) Part-2
In the first battle of Panipat in 21 April, 1526 AD, he finally defeated Ibrahim Lodhi.
After he won battle of Panipat. He gave each anclevery citizen of Kabul a silver coin. That's why he is also called 'Kalander'.
On the 17 March 1527 at Khanna (40 K.m. far from Agra) he defeated Rana Sanga. After it he decided to stay in India. He took the title of 'Ghazi'.
In A.D 1529, he defeated Muhammad Lodhi (uncle of Ibrahim Lodhi) in the battle of Ghaghra. Defeated another Rajput ruler Medini Rai in battle of Chanderi in A.D 1528.
On May 1529 in the battle of Ghaghra he defeated Lohani Afgani army of Bengal and Bihar.
He died in A.D 1530, buried at Aram Bagh in Agra, later his body was taken to Aaram Bagh at Kabul.
He wrote Tuzuk-i-Babari or Babarnama in Turkish. It was translated into Persian by Abdul Rahim khan-i-khanan and in English by Madam Bebridge.
His victory led to rapid popularisation of gun power and artillery in India.
For measuring road he introduced Gaj-e-Baburi.
Babur's empire outstretched from Kabul to Bihar and to Gwalior in South.
As Babur established the Mughal dynasty, his name comes in most famos warriors and conquerors.
