Mitochondria
(1) mitochondria have their own DNA which can replicate independently
(2) All three types of RNAs are present in mitochondrial matrix i.e. mRNA, tRNA and rRNA
(3) mitochondrial matrix possess it's own ribosome(55S to 70S in nature)
(4). Mitochondria synthesize somevof their own structural proteins.
(5 ). New mitochondria develop by division of pre- existing mitochondria
