Religious Policy Of Shahjahan

  • From the point of religious Shah Jahan was intrasignent as compound to Akbar and Jahangir. Shahjahan stopped the manufacturing of new temples and he started leaving tax on Pilgrimage.
  • For transferring Hindus to Muslims he formed a new department. And in his 11th year of rule he said that even after change of religion. A person can claim his/her paternal assets.
  • Shahjahan stopped ILLAHI samvat and restarted Hijari Samvad. He stopped the Sajda Pratha in Court, on its place he Starts ''Chahar Tasleem" prours.
