Difference between atomic weight and molecular weight

Atomic weight:

It is the average atomic mass of an atom of the element relative to  \[ \frac{1}{12} \] the mass of a Carbon atom.

Molecular weight:

It is the mass of a molecule which includes the mass of all the constituent atoms present in the molecule.

Note: Molecular weight is obtained by adding the atomic weights of the individual atoms in a molecule.
