centrifugal force and centripetal force

centrifugal force

A force, arising from the body's inertia, which appears to act on a body moving in a circular path and is directed away from the Centre around which the body is moving.

centripetal force

A force which acts on a body moving in a circular path and is directed towards the Centre around which the body is moving.

Poles doesn't experience any centrifugal or centripetal force.

At poles due to absence of centrifugal force we weigh a little more than equator as equator experiences maximum centrifugal force. But the change in weight is negligible.
