A report by health ministry integrated Disease Surveillance Programme ( IDSP ) , revealed that 95 Swine Flu cases have been reported in Delhi till September 30 .
While the report shows only one death, there were three more suspected H1 N1 deaths reported in Delhi , Gurugram and Noida . Notably , there were 2835 cases and 16 deaths in 2017 in Delhi as against 193 cases and 7 deaths in 2016 .
As per the reports , the surge in H1N1 cases has caused several hospitals to build new isolated wards .
Due to increased no of cases in 2017 , the delhi government has issued a health advisory in january to prevent H1N1 flu , also called Swine Flu .
According to advisory the symptoms of H1 N1 are fever and cough, sore throat , running or stuffy nose and difficult in breathing . Other symptoms include body aches, headache , fatigue, chills, diarrhea and vomiting and blood stained sputum .
Apart from the 90 cases that have been reported in Delhi so far , the Awine Flu continues to take lives in the country . Around 353 deaths have been reported on 2018 , out of the total 4484 reported cases.
