The full name of actor Amitabh Bhachchan is "Amitabh Harivansh Bhachchan" who was born on 11th October 1942 at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He was born to a Hindi Poet Harivansh Rai Bhachchan and Teji Bhachchan, a Sikh. Amitabh Bhachchan is the eldest of Harivansh Rai Bhachchan's two sons, the second being Ajitabh Bhachchan. He is married to actress Jaya Bhaduri with whom he has acted in many films. They has a son (Abhishek Bachan) and a daughter (Shweta Nanda). His son Abishek Bachan has married to actress Aishwarya Rai Bachan.
Amitabh Bhachchan started his career with the movie "Saat Hindustani" for which he won National award of Best New Comer. Amitabh Bachachan first gained popularity in the early 1970s as the 'angry young man' with the movie Zanjeer. This movie was the most successful movie of the year with highest grossing at the box office which has earned a stardom reputation. He has acted in more than 180 films in his career spanning over four decades.
