To increase energy efficiency in buildings, a National Mission on Sustainable Habitat will be started to make habitat continuously through eos waste management and people transport. This mission will promote energy efficiency through three new space, which is the main component of urban infrastructure and urban renewal.
The Energy Conservation Building Code, which is related to the design of new and commercial buildings, which will make these buildings fit to their energy needs.
Recycling of materials and urban waste management is a major component of sustainable ecological economic development. The average of garbage recycling in India is higher than the developed countries. There is a need to emphasize the development of such technology which can produce energy from the waste. In this National Mission, a detailed R & D program will be included to promote biochemical conservation, the use of sewage water, sewage and wherever possible, to promote recycling.
Better urban planning and of course use of public transport. The task of developing medium and small towns will be easy in making long-term transport plans, which will ensure better and convenient, public transport facilities.
