These are included in the Indian Constitution by the 42nd amendment act 1976 on the basis of Karan Singh committee report.

It is based on the former ussre model.

it shall be duty of every citizen of the India who is a parent of guardian to provide opportunities for education to his child or words as the case may be between the age of 6 and 14 years.
