Haryana government has launched a mobile app named as Shiksha Setu with an aim to help the students of the estate the shiksha Setu app will be help in bringing transparency in the education department and in the administration of college in the state also the connectivity between student parent teachers and administration will be improved through this mobile application
About Shiksha Setu:: This mobile app will be contain all the information related to attendance free online admissions and scholarships in all the Haryana Government colleges The detail of lectures of Government colleges and offices of the directorate can be accessed through the mobile app The app will provide students with instant information about assignments and update of the important notice circular and other programmes There will be a facility of online fees payment through the mobile app the college administration will be able to check details about total fee collected and pending fee payment. The student can check the status of seats are course in every colleges in the state the detail of his scholarship eligibility condition and details of applying and can be checked. As per the 2011 sensors Haryana has 76. 64% literacy rate having male literacy rate of 85.4 % and the literacy rate of females stand at 60 6.8%
