Definition: The sentences which express some sudden feelings in mind as joy, sorrow, surprise, suspension , applause, wonder etc. are called exclamatory sentences.
Eg.
- He said, Alas! I am ruined.
- The players said, Hurrah! The cup is ours.
- She said, what a horrible sight it is!
- He said, how weak you are!
👍There are two structure in this kind of sentences
👉 Use of 'How,

- How weak he is!
- How beautiful scene is!
👉 Use of 'What a,
| What a + adjective + noun + sub +Verb |
- What a clever boy you are!
- What a horrible sight it is!
👌Note : what a, comes when adjective and noun come together.
👉 Eg. No. 1 'clever, is adjective and boy is noun
Eg. No. 2 horrible is adjective and sight is noun.
