- Problem of raw material :-this is the main problem of an small scale industries. generally these industry do not require raw material in sufficient quantity. due to it they do not supply good in the market in sufficient Quantum.
- lack of capital:- small scale industry have shortage of credit and financial facility commercial bank do not take interest in providing finance to small scale industries unit so they take loan from indigenous bankers
- blocking of good:- small scale unit is top in depression and they suffer from some difficulties large scale unit purchase raw material in large quantity and sell on credit while small scale industry unit cannot sell goods on credit due to shortage of funds
- old technique:- small scale unit apply old technique it reduce performance of small scale industry unit
- lack of training:- facility person working with small scale industry unit are not familiar with modern technique it reduce efficiency and quality of it
- lack of research:- small scale industry waste money problem due to lack of machine design and research.
